Tom Midgeley was the son of Jenny Bradley and her first husband, he also had an older half-sister Daisy.
In May 2013, Tom passed away after drowning in a paddling pool. Although it was confirmed that the child had been left unattended, the coroner in the investigation recorded an accidental death. Tom's passing caused the breakdown of his parents' marriage, and two years later Jenny's mental health began to deteriorate as she embarked on a relationship with Kevin Webster and abducted his son Jack on what would've been Tom's 7th birthday.
Jenny took her second husband Johnny Connor to the place where she scattered Tom's ashes on the fifth anniversary of his death in May 2018. Several days later Johnny's son Aidan passed away, after taking his own life, and Jenny used her own loss as a way to help comfort him.
