Tom Pepper (died 29th September 2018) appeared in Coronation Street in April 1980 as a Bingo Checker.
He was also credited for roles in the TV series Grandpa in My Pocket and the 1988 film Business as Usual, but his main occupation was as a stand-up comedian. He appeared in the long-running Granada show The Comedians and also did his routine on 3-2-1, Saturday Royal, Summertime Special, Live at the London Palladium, Live at Her Majesties and Live at the Piccadilly. He continued with stand-up routines for over forty years and was also an after-dinner speaker.
