Victor Carin (born 1st October 1933 in Aberdeen, died 2nd January 1981 in Balfron, Scotland) appeared on Coronation Street in August 1967 as Doctor McKenzie, who diagnosed Hilda Ogden with paranoid psychosis after going missing.

His other credits include Doctor Who, This Man Craig, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, The Stanley Baxter Show, Sunset Song, The Scobie Man, Sutherland's Law, The Haggard Falcon, Raffles, The Standard, Huntingtower and Doom Castle.

On stage, he appeared in productions of The Cat and the Canary, Laura, She Stoops to Conquer, Still Life, Strike for Death, The Boy Friend, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Brides of March, Roots, Your Obedient Servant, Book of the Month, Noah and The Hypochondriac.

Before his death, he became script editor of the Scottish soap Take the High Road. His death from cancer was covered in a controversial television documentary in which he was interviewed about dying.
