Wally Thomas (1905 - 1990) appeared in Coronation Street as a Commissionaire on the door of a ball attended by Annie Walker in March 1980.

This is his only credit on the programme in a long TV career that included roles in The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Callan, Softly Softly: Task Force, Father Brown, Pennies From Heaven, Play for Today, Fox, Worzel Gummidge, The Barchester Chronicals, The Singing Detective and The Bretts. His film credits included Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.
