This Ward Sister was on duty when Ena Sharples was hospitalised following a train crashing through the viaduct and onto the Street in May 1967. In order to find out information, Elsie Tanner pretended to be Ena's daughter and discovered that she had sustained bruising, shock and a broken arm - but was otherwise fine.
