Will Leighton (Born 9th March 1908 in Belfast, died 3rd May 2001 in Surrey) in appeared in Coronation Street in July 1968 as potential car purchaser Paddy Conran.
His television career began before the Second World War in the BBC's fledgling television service from Alexandra Palace and he went on to appear in many series including BBC Sunday-Night Theatre, No Hiding Place, Softly Softly, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width, Doctor at Large, War & Peace, All Creatures Great and Small and Cover Her Face.
Film roles include parts in Sophie's Place and An American Werewolf in London.
