William Rush (born 6th July 1994 in Bury) appeared in Coronation Street in April 2014 as Ian, a lad who threatened Maddie Heath at her hostel.
A former child actor, he trained at Manchester School of Acting and is best known for the role of Josh Stevenson in Waterloo Road between 2009 and 2013. He has also appeared in Shameless, Grange Hill, Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Street, Casualty and Vera. In 2017, he had a starring role in the two-part Australian mini-series Friday on My Mind.
He is the son of Debbie Rush who played Anna Windass between 2008 and 2018.
