Donna was the cellmate of Tracy Barlow in Redford Prison when her application for bail was refused at the preliminary hearing for the murder of Charlie Stubbs. On Ken and Deirdre's initial visit, Tracy told them that her cellmate was on remand for credit card fraud and shoplifting, and when Tracy told her why she was incarcerated, Donna was horrified.

Credited as "Woman prisoner", the character's christian name was given in dialogue.
