Wyllie Longmore (born 1940 in Jamaica, died 4th January 2023) appeared in Coronation Street in June 1992 as Dr McKinnon, who treated Don Brennan following his car accident.

He moved to England in 1961 and trained at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. On television, he also appeared in Screen Two, Floodtide, Kinsey, Between the Lines, The Bill, Cardiac Arrest, Casualty, Wing and a Prayer, Merseybeat, Cold Feet, Blue Murder, Waking the Dead and On the Out.

On the big screen he had a part in the 2003 hit film Love Actually.

Stage roles included roles in Green, Antony and Cleopatra, MacBeth, Peer Gynt, My Children! My Africa!, I Just Stopped By To See The Man, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and The Baccahe with a lot of his work taking place at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

On radio, he was heard in productions for The Monday Play, Afternoon Theatre, The Afternoon Play and The Friday Play, as well as A Book at Bedtime, Heart of England (directed by Kay Patrick), No One Writes to the Colonel, Single Plus One, Dead Souls, The Golden Notebook and Henry IV Part Two.
