Zita Frith is a British actress who appeared on Coronation Street as Social Worker Delia Spencer in September 2006.
Born in Alnwick, Northumberland; she moved to London at the age of eighteen to study acting. She graduated from Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in 2000 and since then has worked extensively in the performing arts industry. Her credits include A Northern Odyssey and Lush Life at The Live Theatre, Bad Girls the Musical at the Garrick Theatre, Return to the Forbidden Planet at the Savoy Theatre and a spell on P&O Cruises where she was fortunate enough to sail around the world and Broadway, performing on the Las Vegas strip.
After eight years in the business she returned to her roots and started to build her life back in the North East. She continues to teach singing and acting locally and since returning, Zita has established herself as one of the area's top vocalists, working as a session and function singer. She recently started the vocal harmony group "Scarlet Street" who regularly appear around at venues and events around the North East.
She also appeared in Steel River Blues and a short film entitled Neville in a Blue Dress.
